Green infrastructure can be considered as a network of natural and semi-natural features within and between towns and villages that can reach out into the wider countryside. These features can include street trees, private gardens, transport corridors, verges, parks, rivers, woodland and agricultural land, all of which encourage and enhance local ecosystems.
This group is also considering our network of footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways.
